June 19th. The fifth session of CES was done this morning. The 39 new birds were 4 Wren, 3 Chiffchaff, 3 Long-tailed Tit, 2 Sedge Warbler, a Robin, 3 Great Tit, a Linnet, 6 Whitethroat, a Blackcap, 9 Blue Tit, a Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Dunnock, a Blackbird and a Kestrel. The 21 retraps were a Wren, 5 Sedge Warbler, 2 Blackcap, 2 Robin, 4 Whitethroat, 2 Chiffchaff, a Chaffinch, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, a Long-tailed Tit and a Blue Tit.
June 18th.
June 17th. A morning ringing session in East Dunes resulted in 11 new birds: a Chiffchaff, a Robin, 3 Whitethroat, 2 Meadow Pipit, 2 Great Tit and 2 Dunnock; and 6 retraps: 2 Lesser Whitethroat, a Whitethroat, a Great Tit, a Chiffchaff and a Dunnock.
June 16th. A morning ringing session in East Dunes produced 4 new birds: a Linnet, a Meadow Pipit, a Whitethroat and a Starling; and 7 retraps: 4 Whitethroat, 2 Lesser Whitethroat and a Dunnock.
A morning ringing session at Aylmer Avenue by Jenni Godber produced 13 new birds: a Chiffchaff, 3 Sedge Warbler, 5 Whitethroat and 4 Blackcap; and 14 retraps: 5 Sedge Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Dunnock, a Chiffchaff and a Wren.
