A morning ringing session in East Dunes resulted in 9 new birds: a Wren, a Blue Tit, a Blackcap, a Linnet, a Sedge Warbler, a Great Tit, 2 Blackbird and a Starling; and 7 retraps: 2 Whitethroat, 3 Great Tit and 2 Dunnock.

Around were 3 Brent Goose, an Eider, 7 Little Egret, 2 Marsh Harrier, a Buzzard, 10 Lapwing, 73 Avocet, a Greenshank, 3 Cuckoo, a Short-eared Owl, a Hobby, a Goldcrest and a Spotted Flycatcher. On Tennyson's Sands were a Grey Heron, 3 Spoonbill, 2 Great Crested Grebe and a Knot. Heading south were 1142 Swift, 2 House Martin and 7 Swallow.
A wind-shortened morning ringing session in East Dunes provided 4 new birds: a Reed Warbler, a Whitethroat and 2 Great Tit; and 6 retraps: 2 Dunnock, a Song Thrush, 2 Whitethroat and a Wren.

Flying south over North Building early morning were 2 Bee-eater. Also flying south were 2 Swift and 2 Swallow. On Tennyson's Sands were 2 Red-legged Partridge, 3 Spoonbill, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 10 Knot and 3 Mediterranean Gull. Birds around included a Greenshank, 2 Cuckoo, a Short-eared Owl, 55 House Martin, 4 Mistle Thrush and a Spotted Flycatcher.
A wind-shortened morning ringing session in East Dunes produced 15 new birds: 4 Linnet, 3 Blue Tit, 2 Meadow Pipit, 3 Great Tit, 2 Dunnock and a Blackbird; and 4 retraps: 2 Whitethroat, a Blue Tit and a Linnet.

A morning ringing session in East Dunes, with Keith Collett, yielded 5 new birds: a Robin, a Goldfinch, 2 Chaffinch and a Dunnock; and 6 retraps: 2 Whitethroat, 2 Chaffinch, a Wren and a Dunnock.
5th June. On Tennyson's Sands were 9 Little Egret and a Spoonbill. Around were 2 Pink-footed Goose, 2 Brent Goose, 2 Eider, a Spoonbill, 3 Marsh Harrier, 3 Buzzard, a Black-tailed Godwit, 600 Knot, 400 Sanderling, a Greenshank, a Yellow-legged Gull, 4 Stock Dove, a Collared Dove, 5 Cuckoo, a Barn Owl, 2 Short-eared Owl, a Peregrine, a Grasshopper Warbler and a Wheatear. Heading south were a Marsh Harrier, a Buzzard, 9 Lapwing, 2 Mediterranean Gull, a Hobby, 376 Swift, 52 Swallow and 71 House Martin.
A morning ringing session at Aylmer Avenue, including the fourth session of CES, provided 28 new birds: 12 Long-tailed Tit, a Chiffchaff, 5 Whitethroat, a Sedge Warbler, a Linnet, 2 Chaffinch, a Great Tit, a Robin, 2 Swallow and 2 Dunnock; and 23 retraps: 3 Chaffinch, 2 Dunnock, 9 Goldfinch, 2 Great Tit, a Long-tailed Tit, 2 Whitethroat, 3 Sedge Warbler and a Robin.

3rd June. Fairly strong south-westerly wind.
A Temminck's Stint was on Fenland Lagoon early morning prior to flying south with Dunlin. On Tennyson's Sands were a Pochard, 2 Spoonbill, 2 Great Crested Grebe and a Greenshank. Birds around included a 4 Little Egret, a Buzzard, 15 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Mediterranean Gull, a Cuckoo, a Short-eared Owl, a Peregrine and 2 Spotted Flycatcher. Flying south were 2 Red Kite, a Buzzard, a Hobby, 4 Little Ringed Plover, 62 Swift, 46 Swallow and 19 House Martin.
A wind-restricted morning ringing session in East Dunes resulted in 5 retraps: 2 Whitethroat, a Blue Tit, a Wren and a Great Tit.
