A Lapland Bunting flew south over the Old Spit in the afternoon. A pair of Velvet Scoter, 35 Common Scoter, 9 Red-throated Diver, and 10 Great Crested Grebe were on the sea. On Greenshanks Creek were 21 Turnstone; on Jackson's Marsh a female Pintail, a Water Rail and a Water Pipit; and on Croftmarsh 2 Mute Swan, 180 Lapwing, 60 Curlew, 26 Redshank, 17 Stock Dove and 110 Starling. What is thought to be the same Black-throated Diver of recent weeks flew north and then close south soon after, out from Mill Hill in the afternoon.
